Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide

Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD) is a coenzyme central to metabolism. NAD reduces DNA damage and the buildup of toxins in the body, enhancing cellular metabolism, cellular energy, and cellular regeneration. Similar to Niacinamide, NAD provides a variety of anti-aging and skin health benefits.

Acne

NAD has anti-inflammatory properties, which may be used for the treatment of skin diseases such as bullous pemphigoid. It may improve acne by its anti-inflammatory action and by reducing sebum.

Anti-Aging

NAD can provide anti-aging skin health benefits such as wrinkle reduction, collagen production and improved skin elasticity.

Rejuvenates Skin

Stress and aging can cause NAD breakdown in the skin, from the outermost layer to the deepest layer. The NAD metabolic pathway has been implicated as a potential therapeutic target to promote cellular health. Recent studies have shown that enhancing NAD levels can reduce global oxidative cell damage, replenish total NAD stores and restore optimal skin cell function.
