Chlorella Vulgaris

Chlorella Vulgaris is a type of algae that grows in freshwater. It is a powerful skin conditioner and antioxidant. It is typically processed and made into tablets or liquid extracts containing amino acids, peptides, proteins, vitamins, sugars, and nucleic acids helping in tissue growth and repair.

Anti-aging

Chlorella vulgaris prevents our skin from aging prematurely and ungracefully. A rich source of carotenoids, chlorella helps protect our skin from UV rays and fight against enzymes that break down collagen and elastin. When applied topically, chlorella vulgaris can help your skin synthesize more collagen. Studies have shown that Chlorella can improve skin firmness and reduce the appearance of stretch marks.

Anti inflammatory

Research shows that supplementation of Chlorella detoxes the body from heavy metals. Chlorella vulgaris contains significant levels of vitamins A, B, C, E, Iron and Zinc.  These vitamins work to calm skin inflammation and promote healthy functioning.

Antioxidants

Chlorella contains high levels and increases the natural level of antioxidants in your body. The antioxidants in chlorella encourage cell turn over, protect the skin from UV damage and help fight off free radicals.

Hyperpigmentation

Chlorella decreases blood vessel growth, minimizes the visibility of redness, and helps to reduce dark circles from around the eyes. It has skin-lightening and brightening effects that help reduce pigmentation and increase transparency.
