Bamboo Charcoal
Bamboo Charcoal is derived from bamboo plants. The bamboo is burned at a high temperature in a low oxygen environment to produce the activated coal known as bamboo charcoal. Studies show that bamboo charcoal contains a large surface area and is porous, allowing it to absorb more toxins and impurities than other forms of charcoal.
Acne
Bamboo charcoal contains anti-fungal, anti-microbial, and anti-bacterial properties that work together to prevent acne. It draws out buildup and impurities from deep within your pores, controlling pimples, breakouts and minimizing your pores.
Balances Oil Secretion
Oil gets produced in microscopic glands known as sebaceous glands. Bamboo charcoal balances the oil secretion in the sebaceous glands. When applied topically, bamboo charcoal deep cleans the pores, pulling out buildup of impurities and dirt, leaving the skin with a more refined glow.
Exfoliating
Bamboo charcoal is a natural exfoliant. It removes dead skin cells from the skins surface leaving for a smoother, more radiant complexion.
